The county membership support team encompasses the following individuals:

Elaine Wilson

County treasurer

Manages and administers the county finances. Dealing with day-to-day operational activities and supporting the strategic development of the use of county funds.

County archivist

Maintains, organises and expands the county archives covering the history of guiding in Hertfordshire.

Coordinates the membership systems management (GO) within Hertfordshire. Aiding and assisting GO users to navigate the system to effectively undertake tasks within their role. Keeping members and volunteers updated on system, procedure and policy changes.

County wellbeing lead volunteer

Provides information, guidance and advice to our members and volunteers around topics such as mental health and wellbeing.

County commissioner mentor

Supports and guides division commissioners to develop the knowledge and skills needed to carry out their role effectively.

County inclusion lead volunteer

Advocates for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) providing support to our members and volunteers enabling them to create a diverse and supportive space.

Helps empower young women within the Inspire community (members aged 18-30) by encouraging and supporting them to take part in available opportunities.

Chairs the Hertfordshire Guide Centre (HGC) management committee and oversees all aspects of running and maintaining the county centre in Cottered.

Supports young leaders within the county with the young leader qualification (YLQ) and helps them develop into future adult leaders.
