The county promote and grow team encompasses the following individuals:

Lauren Whittaker

County media and communications lead volunteer

Leads the county media and communications team, promoting Girlguiding Hertfordshire across a variety of county social media platforms.

Katie Hill

County badge secretary

Liaises with Girlguiding nationally with regards to ordering badges and certificates, as well as chairing the county shops annual general meeting.

Sally Settle

County growth and retention lead volunteer

Works to grow volunteer membership numbers and retain existing volunteers within the county. Supports existing volunteers to develop into qualified leaders.

Chloe Sladden

County Inspire social media volunteer

Supports the joint county Inspire lead volunteers.

County environment and sustainability lead volunteer

Works with members and volunteers across the county to make Girlguiding Hertfordshire more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Sandra Sayce

County awards lead volunteer

Leads the awards committee, promoting and encouraging all aspects of awards throughout the county. Oversees the annual county awards celebration event.

Alice Smith

County peer education coordination lead volunteer

Promotes, recruits and supports peer educators (14–25 year olds who help with Brownies, Guides and Rangers) within the county. Coaching and mentoring peer educators to develop their skills and help them organise their sessions once trained.

Paula Moon

County training administration lead volunteer

Coordinates and organises the training and ongoing development of volunteers within Hertfordshire county, including 1st response and county training and networking days.
